Software Engineer, Simulation

📋 Description

• Own architecture and quality of SpaceX simulation software.
• Develop and optimize multi-physics simulations; enable web-based 3D tooling.
• Build interfaces to view and interpret simulation results.
• Troubleshoot integration, meshing quality, and accuracy.
• Apply ML/AI (surrogate models, PINNs) to accelerate simulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to add features and automate.
• Test and validate simulations using industry benchmarks.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's in CS/engineering/math/STEM; or 5+ years software exp in lieu.
• 2+ years software development experience.
• 2+ years C++ software engineering experience.
• 1+ years Python for data analysis.
