Software Engineer, Search & Discovery Platform

📋 Description

• Build services and infrastructure for real-time, dynamic recommendation feeds
• Build a scalable, low-latency discovery experience
• Partner across ML, platform, and product teams to solve discovery problems
• Contribute scalable solutions across feed, search, ML service, and Discovery stacks
• Define scalable recommendation system strategies

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in software engineering; BS in CS/Stats/Math/SE or equivalent
• Experience building/scaling high-volume platforms
• Autonomous, leads initiatives; mentors; inclusive teams
• Experience in ML domains (recommendations, content understanding, search)
• Backend design: scalable, maintainable systems
• Cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and IaC Terraform; monitoring (DataDog, Grafana)
