Software Engineer, Risk

📋 Description

• Design and build core risk decisioning systems in real time.
• Own services that assess fraud, risk, abuse, and anomalous behavior.
• Partner with Risk, Finance, and Data Science to code auditable software.
• Build event-driven pipelines for large-scale transactional data with low latency.
• Enable AI-driven and statistical models in production with safe rollouts.
• Debug high-severity production issues where correctness matters.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years backend experience in fintech, payments, or risk.
• Strong experience designing data-intensive, event-driven systems.
• Proficiency in Python (or similar) and distributed systems.
• Systems mindset: failure modes, edge cases, and adversarial scenarios.
• Experience with auditability, observability, and correctness guarantees.
• Ability to work with Risk, Finance, Ops to turn policies into clean abstractions.
