Software Engineer, Observability

📋 Description

• Architect and scale core observability (logging/metrics/tracing)
• Extend observability to LLM/AI features (prompts, model calls, RAG)
• Evaluate and integrate new tech (OpenTelemetry, ClickHouse, ELK stack)
• Mentor engineers; share best practices in tracing, monitoring, and logging
• Define coding standards and operational excellence across org
• Own end-to-end reliability; set SLAs, SLOs, and error budgets

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering; 3+ in observability
• Experience building production-grade logging, metrics, and tracing
• Strong background in distributed systems, data streaming pipelines, and Kubernetes
• Hands-on with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK, Loki
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or Java
• Experience mentoring across teams; strong communication
