Software Engineer - Model Developer Ecosystem

📋 Description

• Own the dev-facing narrative for the model library: guides and tutorials.
• Build and nurture both sides of the model ecosystem.
• Develop evaluation frameworks and use-case criteria beyond benchmarks.
• Create community programs, events, and education initiatives.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing to translate feedback into product improvements.
• Represent Baseten at conferences, meetups, and community events.

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on developer; write code, read diffs, engage with engineers.
• Proven track record in developer relations, education, or technical content.
• Strong written and verbal communication; explain complex concepts clearly.
• Experience building or contributing to developer communities or open source.
• Genuine curiosity about the AI/ML landscape; follows releases and tradeoffs.
• Comfort with ambiguity and ownership; help define success.
