Software Engineer, Merchant Tooling

📋 Description

• Deliver bidirectional data sync across marketplace, ERP, and other systems with low latency.
• Partner with Product, Inventory, Operations to translate needs into technical requirements.
• Architect enterprise-grade systems intuitive for developers and scalable for growth.
• Contribute to the Inventory roadmap with technical insight and hands-on support.
• Build tooling for sellers with needs at scale (ERP, WMS, accounting integrations).
• Work from home or near LA/NY/SF/Seattle hub; hybrid options and travel as needed.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of generalist software development in high-growth startups.
• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent.
• Experience building scalable systems (Python, Elixir, JavaScript).
• Ability to work across backend and frontend.
• Strong product instincts; prioritize user needs.
• Proven track record shipping features quickly.
• Ownership of ambiguous areas and driving impact.
• SQL and data pipelines experience (dbt).
