Software Engineer, Machine Learning Infrastructure

📋 Description

• Own infra powering AI/ML across core surfaces.
• Prototype, deploy, and productionalize ML architectures shaping UX.
• Design and scale inference infra for large models with low latency.
• Build distributed training/inference pipelines using GPUs and parallelism.
• Take on new technical challenges as we scale AI across Whatnot.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years building ML systems and algorithms.
• BS in CS/Stats/Applied Math or related field, or equivalent.
• 3+ years software engineering for production systems at consumer scale.
• 1+ year Python development in production.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis; DataDog/Grafana.
• Cloud: AWS Sagemaker, Lambda, Kinesis, S3, EC2; EKS/ECS; Kafka; Flink.
