Software Engineer, Instant Loans

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, refactor, and scale backend features
• Work on member-facing mobile app APIs powering key experiences
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand member pain points and come up with solutions
• Develop thoroughly tested code and conduct QA on all new code alongside our QA team
• Proactively identify opportunities for improving the reliability and scalability of our systems
• Engineers are required to participate in on-call rotation

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years developing software in production environment at scale
• Proven experience with Ruby on Rails or comparable frameworks
• Comfort across the stack and an eagerness to learn new technologies
• Experience designing APIs, working with transactional databases and caching systems
• A product mindset with a strong bias toward experimentation, iteration, and measuring impact
• Exposure to large-scale architecture patterns and an appreciation for clean, maintainable code
