Software Engineer, Infrastructure (8+ YOE)

📋 Description

• Proactively identify and lead improvements to Airtable’s infrastructure, across teams.
• Address systems-level problems where scalability, efficiency, reliability and security matter.
• Build clean, reusable abstractions used by Airtable engineers for years to come.
• Take ownership of components of Airtable’s production infrastructure including observability.

🎯 Requirements

• You have at least 8 years of industry experience; this is not an early-career role.
• Experience with databases, distributed systems, service-oriented architectures, data infrastructure.
• You derive joy from refactoring and building clean abstractions for complex systems.
• You have a strong CS background with a degree in CS or related field.
• You are based in or willing to relocate to the SF Bay Area or NYC for this role.
