Software Engineer, Infrastructure (2-8 YOE)

📋 Description

• Proactively identify and lead infrastructure improvements across teams to maximize impact.
• Work on systems-level problems where scalability, efficiency, reliability, and security matter.
• Build clean, reusable abstractions used by Airtable engineers for years.
• Take ownership of infrastructure components, ensuring reliability and observability.

🎯 Requirements

• 2-8 years of industry experience; not a new grad.
• Experience with databases, distributed systems, SOA, and data infrastructure.
• Joy refactoring and building clean abstractions for complex systems.
• Strong CS background with CS degree.
• Based in SF Bay Area or willing to relocate/commute to SF/NYC/Seattle (hybrid work).
