Software Engineer II, Verifications Decisioning

📋 Description

• Design and build backend services powering verification orchestration and risk evaluation.
• Develop rule engines and decisioning to increase automation across products.
• Integrate external data providers (Plaid) into scalable workflows.
• Improve document automation pipelines including classification, extraction, and fraud detection.
• Build and maintain APIs, Kafka events, and service contracts for verification.
• Partner with ML engineers to productionize risk models at scale.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience designing scalable backends in Java, Kotlin, Go, or Python.
• Distributed systems with APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Contributed to a decision engine that integrates with ML models.
• Wrote production-quality code with testing and monitoring.
• BS in CS/Engineering/Math (or related field) + 3 years.
