Software Engineer II (Pulsar team)

📋 Description

• Pulsar team builds platform and admin services Bloomreach SaaS relies on.
• Develop features used by thousands of customers; fast, high-energy releases.
• Build autonomous, scalable search and personalization capabilities.
• Work remotely from the US, India, and Europe.
• Review MR, write tests, spin up dev, deploy changes to staging.
• Design and evolve APIs for a SaaS product; operate services in public cloud.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years backend experience with Python; data systems.
• Some experience with Java/Spring or Go.
• API design for SaaS products.
• Web security principles (OWASP), authentication, authorization.
• Frontend exposure (Angular/React) is a plus.
• Experience with databases: PostgreSQL/MySQL/MongoDB/Redis; Kafka.
