Software Engineer II, Identity & Security Foundation

📋 Description

• Design and maintain secure authentication/authorization systems using Java, PHP, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Build microservices for MFA, SSO, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, and token management.
• Collaborate with product teams to deliver secure, reliable solutions.
• Contribute to code reviews and raise security standards.
• Troubleshoot auth production issues; balance performance and usability.
• Participate in on-call rotation to triage issues.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of professional software engineering with Java or PHP in production.
• Strong understanding of MFA, SSO, OAuth 2.0, and JWT token management, including scopes/permissions.
• Experience building RESTful APIs or microservices with security best practices.
• Comfortable collaborating across teams to translate requirements into technical designs balancing security and user experience.
