Software Engineer, Fraud & Identity

📋 Description

• Build backend services to detect and prevent fraud across surfaces.
• Develop enforcement tools for identity locks, freezes, and containment.
• Improve protections against account takeover with MFA and risk step-ups.
• Design observability: metrics, dashboards, alerts, and playbooks.
• Partner with UIM/Identity teams to strengthen authentication.
• Drive end-to-end delivery from design to rollout using outcome metrics.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering experience (or equivalent).
• Strong backend fundamentals: APIs, distributed systems, data modeling, reliability.
• Experience building data-informed detection or decisioning systems, or interest to learn.
• Proven ability to operate production systems: debugging, incident response, instrumentation/automation.
• Strong cross-functional communication with product and operations partners.
• Nice to have: experience in fraud, risk, identity, authentication, security engineering.
