Software Engineer, Credit Risk Platform

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and tools for risk strategy across products.
• Contribute to reusable platform primitives enabling rapid launch of new credit products.
• Build workflows for Credit Risk teams to adjust rules with guardrails.
• Integrate third-party data sources with validation and resilience to vendor changes.
• Add instrumentation, dashboards, and alerts for key risk signals and on-call readiness.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to learn design, testing, and operational excellence.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years developing software in production.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails or comparable frameworks and building APIs.
• Experience with relational databases and caching systems; safe schema changes and migrations.
• Familiarity with distributed systems fundamentals and an interest in deep system design.
• Strong commitment to maintainable, well-tested code and improving existing systems.
• Comfort working across teams to clarify requirements and deliver incrementally.
