📋 Description

• Build and ship Claude Design's core surfaces: canvas, editing, live controls.
• Collaborate with research to turn frontier vision into intuitive experiences.
• Partner with designers and users to gather feedback and iterate.
• Set frontend direction for editor, canvas, and real-time collaboration.
• Design and run experiments to test product hypotheses and measure results.
• Own latency, responsiveness, and reliability; advocate for UX early.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years building full-stack apps with strong frontend.
• Led a team/workstream; mentored engineers while coding.
• Strong design sense; obsess over interaction details and polish.
• Strong web-stack skills: React, TS, Node, Python, Go; complex client state.
• Comfortable in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities.
• User-centric: validate with users, focus on problems before solutions.
