Software Engineer, C++ (Starlink)

📋 Description

• Develop real-time software for gateways, satellites, user terminals, and switches in our global network.
• Participate in and lead architecture, design, and code reviews.
• Develop prototypes and experiments to prove design concepts.
• Develop tools for development, deployment, data analysis, and testing across multiple environments.
• Deploy software, tests, and data analysis within CI/CD pipelines.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering/math/science, or 2+ years software dev exp.
• Experience in C, C++, or assembly.
• Strong experience writing C, C++, or assembly in production.
• Real-time rendering, game engine development, physics simulation, or similar real-time HPC.
• Networking protocols (UDP, TCP/IP) and distributed systems.
• Security considerations for distributed systems and internet services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong analytical skills.
• Willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
