Software Engineer, Backend

📋 Description

• Own and deliver features from design to launch with limited ambiguity.
• Write highly performant, well-tested, maintainable code for large-scale distributed systems.
• Contribute to specs and architecture, designing scalable, fault-tolerant cloud solutions.
• Raise engineering bar via code reviews, tech talks, and best practices.
• Own system health; drive root-cause analysis and debt reduction.
• Collaborate with Product, TPMs, Data Science to gather requirements and trade-offs.

🎯 Requirements

• BS/MS in CS/Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years building production infrastructure.
• Proven track record delivering features from design to launch.
• Experience designing and maintaining fault-tolerant distributed systems.
• Experience with AWS and relational or NoSQL databases.
• Able to break work into tasks and drive to completion.
• Pay/fintech experience is a plus.
• Python and AI tools experience a plus.
