Software Engineer, Architecture, Reliability, & Compute

📋 Description

• Design and implement secure, scalable backend systems for Public Sector.
• Own services and define their long-term health, improve surrounding components.
• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define backend solutions for secure gov environments.
• Participate in customer engagements to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Contribute to platform roadmap and product strategy for Scale AI's Public Sector offering.

🎯 Requirements

• An active security clearance, TS/SCI with CI Poly.
• Full-stack development experience with modern web frameworks and databases.
• Docker and Kubernetes; cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with Federal Compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, STIG).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent collaboration and communication with cross-functional teams.
• Adaptable with learning agility to new tech.
• Must be able to support work 3-4 days/week from DC, SF, NYC, or STL offices.
