Engineer backend services with high quality, maintainable and well tested code.
Partner with engineers, product, reliability teams, and leadership to evolve systems.
Regularly engage in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Optimize the performance, reliability and scalability of existing backend services.
Investigate, prototype and propose ideas to improve user experience.
Create and maintain technical documentation for systems and processes.

🎯 Requirements

3-5 years experience in Python / Golang and Kubernetes.
RESTful APIs and distributed systems experience.
Comfortable with pytest and testing frameworks.
Strong written and verbal communication; experience creating specs.
A passion for reliability and operational excellence.
Experience with code reviews, testing, CI/CD, version control and automation; Airflow or SaaS experience a plus.

🎁 Benefits

Salary range $150,000-$165,000; equity and benefits.
