Software Engineer - Admin API (Python)

📋 Description

• Design and build platform features end-to-end with Python, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy.
• Own data model to API to deployment lifecycle.
• Write clean, well-tested code with good test coverage.
• Build and maintain internal and customer-facing APIs with performance and clear contracts.
• Work with MySQL and PostgreSQL daily; design schemas and queries.
• Tackle production issues and implement guardrails to prevent recurrence.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering with strong Python.
• FastAPI (or Starlette) and SQLAlchemy; async patterns and DI.
• Strong SQL and relational DB skills; design normalized schemas and indexing.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests.
• Cloud infrastructure knowledge (AWS or GCP).
• Production ownership: monitoring, alerting, incident response, post-mortems.
