Design high-throughput, event-driven backends for 10M+ daily notifications
Implement multi-channel routing, dedup, rate limiting, personalization
Build observability into the notification pipeline (monitoring, logging, tracing)
Ensure data security and privacy compliance (CAN-SPAM, GDPR)
Collaborate with product, infra, and data teams to design APIs/SDKs

🎯 Requirements

4+ years in software engineering; building and scaling high-volume distributed systems
Backend design: APIs, data modeling; Node.js/NestJS, TS, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis
Backend performance optimization, caching, and event-driven (Redis, Kafka)
Notification protocols/integrations (SMTP, FCM, APNs) and email templating
Frontend frameworks: React, Vue, Angular; UI patterns
Observability and security across stack; Grafana/Prometheus/Sentry/PostHog; auth/privacy
