Software Development Engineer II, HD Maps

📋 Description

• Lead design and roadmap for HD map algorithmic stages in cloud apps.
• Code and develop HD-map algorithm stages in cloud apps (Python, SQL, AWS, Spark).
• Collaborate across R&D teams to integrate analytics into mapping products.
• Align product development with strategic objectives with engineering teams.
• Engage with customers and automotive OEMs across EU, US, Japan, China; Tier 1 suppliers.
• Collaborate with business development to align roadmap with customer needs and market trends.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, GIS, or related field.
• Proficiency in Python or other languages for data analysis and cloud app development.
• Experience deploying GIS algorithms within scalable cloud apps, preferably AWS and Spark.
• Solid understanding of geospatial data concepts and tools (GeoJSON, PostGIS, QGIS, etc.).
• Familiarity with data visualization libraries (Matplotlib, Plotly, D3.js) to communicate insights.
• Excellent communication and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
