Software Architect

📋 Description

• Work on the Cars product used by millions; in-office 3 days/week in Concord.
• Become a product expert, collaborating with designers, PMs, and stakeholders.
• Own UI end-to-end, including testing, monitoring, and production issues.
• Drive technical debt reduction and improve code quality.
• Leverage AI coding tools to boost efficiency.
• Mentor teammates through reviews and architectural guidance.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative/technical field.
• 8+ years in web app development with CSS, HTML, JavaScript, preferably TypeScript.
• 8+ years with React or a modern UI framework.
• Experience using AI tools and frameworks to improve day-to-day work.
• End-to-end testing and test-driven development expertise.
• Strong leadership and mentoring; guide teams through architectural transitions.
• Debug in full-stack environments.
• Produce high-quality, accurate work.
• Break down tasks into actionable deliverables.
• Communicate complex topics to diverse audiences.
• Process, store, and analyze large data sets.
• Work in an agile development process.
• Build cross-functional relationships.
• Learn and grow from feedback.
