Software Alliances Director, Americas

📋 Description

• Set account strategy in major accounts, regions, and verticals.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, alliance and marketing on open-source strategies.
• Capture partner requirements, identify gaps, and create Canonical opportunities.
• Coordinate with marketing and product on messaging, content and launch plans.
• Create partner- and customer-facing materials (reference architectures, blueprints, webinars).
• Drive Ubuntu adoption in alliance accounts; travel up to 25% internationally.

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated cross-functional leadership and influence.
• Bachelor's degree in science, technology and/or engineering.
• Experience in software development and system architecture.
• Customer-facing experience in software engineering, product management, business development, technology strategy or similar.
• Excellent communication skills across all levels; ability to grasp complex material.
• Ability to think and work at both strategic and tactical levels.
