- Prepare work by gathering materials and tools
- Handle fabrics and materials with varied properties (felt, silicone rubber, Kevlar, fiberglass)
- Cut materials from templates using hand tools or automated cutters
- Read instructions and engineering drawings to assemble products to tolerances
- Install hardware such as rivets, grommets, snaps, zippers, and fasteners
- Stitch components by sewing machine or hand sewing and adjust machines as needed
🎯 Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency
- 1+ year hands-on manufacturing/production experience
- Preferred: seamstress/machinist in an industrial environment
- Experience cutting different materials and fabrics
- Experience operating automated cutting machine
- Able to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 25 lbs
