If you’re interested in pioneering a way to apply cutting-edge technologies to online education — and having a strong hand in driving our growth with Product — we would love to tell you more about this opportunity.

We are looking for an exceptional Head of Product to lead our product strategy, vision, and execution. You will drive the development of our product roadmap, lead our product team, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our products exceed customer expectations and align with our company's mission and goals. You’re passionate about how our product is used and how it delivers learning outcomes, working closely with our clients, and aligning our product to solve pressing needs as we continue improving our PMF. If you're a visionary product leader with a passion for Ed-Tech and a track record of success, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

Departmental leadership:

- As part of the senior leadership team, contribute to defining the company’s strategy by identifying market trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and competitive advantage. Articulate a compelling product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the company.

- Cross-functional collaboration: Drive alignment across the broader organization (engineering, design, analytics). Be a trusted partner who communicates well with commercial stakeholders (marketing, sales, customer success).

- People management: Mentor and develop a high-performing product team by fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment that promotes individual growth and team success.

Product development:

- Guide product managers in planning, prioritizing and executing the product roadmap.

- Oversee the full product development lifecycle, from discovery to launch. Establish processes to ensure high-quality and timely delivery.

Product culture:

- Champion a customer-first mindset throughout the organization. Cultivate strong client relationships and own the vision and processes for end-user research and feedback loops.

- Foster a culture of craftsmanship, challenge the status quo, continuous improvement, and agile development.

- Promote an experimentation mindset by coaching product managers and analysts in data-driven decision-making.

  • Comfort with growth and retention metrics, excel in data proficiency, exhibit leadership in data management, and demonstrate a strong grasp of statistics fundamentals and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills to represent the product organization within Slang and with Customers. You’ll need to work cross-functionally as well as cross-culturally - we’re an internationally distributed team!
  • English proficiency (C1 or higher).
  • Experience working with technical product teams and knowledge of developing software products.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to develop and execute against a roadmap and deliver measurable impact.
  • Self-directed with a willingness to get your hands dirty. We expect you to roll your sleeves with your team members and be an individual contributor when necessary.
