Brief Overview

We’re hosting an open tryouts night to allow anyone who is looking to enter tech to show their potential, live and in real-time.

This is for anyone looking to enter the technology sector - whether you’re a recent graduate, a 2026 graduate, or even if you’re looking to transition from another industry - this could be for you.

We’re looking for anyone thinking about moving into technology, either now, or during 2026.

At Sitemate Tryouts Night, we’ll have a circuit setup where you can practice with our team, run short role-play scenarios, get real feedback, progress through different stages, and have a chance to be fast tracked in our recruitment process.

Our goal is for everyone who attends to leave with a better understanding of how to break into tech, what roles might be best for you, a few tips to improve your skills - regardless of whether you end up joining Sitemate or not.

No perfect CV is required - curiosity, coachability, and great communication are what we value in our entry level new starters.

Register and come along for a fun evening, with unlimited free pizza and drinks!

Event

  • When: Monday 8th of December 2025, 5:30–8:30pm

  • Where: Sitemate Sydney Office (details sent on confirmation)

  • Who: Final-year students & grads (0–2 years experience) interested in GTM (Sales/BD/AM/CSM) careers

  • Food: Free pizza & soft drinks (dietaries catered)

What happens on the night?

  1. Welcome & warm-ups - short intro, expectations, what “good” looks like

  2. Practice bay - small-group coaching sessions with Sitemate team

  3. Round 1 - live mock + feedback (manager interviewers)

  4. Round 2 - scenario with more complexity (GM/Director interviewers)

  5. Finals - short exec-style scenario + values probe

  6. Outcomes - private 1:1 updates: Advance / Hold / Pass

    • Top performers may receive a verbal contingent offer (subject to references and right-to-work)

Employment pathways

Outstanding performers will be considered for Graduate / L1 GTM roles (SDR/BDR/AE/AM track). We’ll discuss comp bands and progression pathways during the process; offers made on the night are verbal & contingent on references and right-to-work
