We’re hiring a Sales Development Manager to inspire and develop a high-performing SDR team by setting the vision, driving results, and shaping the future of Silktide’s growth engine.
You will spend 3 days per week in our downtown Austin office in the historic Littlefield building, with the remaining days for focused work. We value time together for coaching, collaboration, and learning from one another. We also operate globally with teams in the UK, Denmark, Germany, and Australia.
Inspire and coach a team of SDRs to become world-class at prospecting, messaging, cadence design, and qualification - turning potential into performance.
Own the outbound funnel from first touch to qualified opportunity, bringing the focus, drive, and clarity needed to consistently smash team targets.
Lead with rhythm and purpose through weekly standups, energising 1:1s, and performance reviews - using data to spot opportunities and partnering with Sales, Marketing, CS, and RevOps to level up our strategy.
Model excellence every day by jumping into the trenches when needed - showing the team what great looks like and keeping your own skills razor sharp.
Shape and optimise the systems behind the scenes - lead routing, enrichment, scoring, and attribution - working with RevOps to build a machine that scales.
Be the example your team follows - you’ve done the job, you know what great outbound looks like, and you’re ready to help others reach (and exceed) that standard.
Have at least 1 year of experience managing SDRs or a similar outbound sales team.
Have been a top-performing SDR yourself – you know what good looks like.
You’re an inspiring, high-energy leader who thrives on developing others.
You love coaching on calls, on emails, on strategy, and seeing people grow.
You’re comfortable holding teams accountable while also supporting them to succeed.
You understand outbound prospecting, pipeline generation, and qualification, both strategically and tactically.
You’re data-driven and use metrics to drive performance.
You have a strong understanding of backend data systems that support outbound, and you can partner with RevOps to improve them.
You’ve used tools like Salesforce, Outreach, Salesloft, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
You’re excited to build processes, challenge the status quo, and raise the bar every day.
Base salary: $100,000 to $130,000
OTE: $150,000 to $180,000, uncapped commission with accelerators and real potential to earn more
