Position Overview:

ShyftLabs is seeking a talented Oracle Retail FUSION Applications DBA for our Gurgaon/Noida location, where you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement efficient solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Installation of Oracle Retail Suite & EBS suite Applications – PIM, RMS, RPM, ReIM, RIB, Allocation.

2. Installation of Oracle fusion middleware (11g/12c) - SOA, OSB and ODI.

3. Pattern analysis (logs, data, process, monitoring tools), triaging, prevention of scenarios (performance, operations and security) before they turn into issue and resolution for issues.

4. Execution and validation of deployment components using CICD pipeline.

5. Cloning the Oracle retail and fusion applications to new nodes/servers (non-production and/or extension for production).

6. Applying patches to application as suggested by vendor/infosec for security, performance and availability of the application.

7. Develop automated reports and alerts that will alert business users, support team on occurrence of pre-defined, critical Oracle database events and Oracle Fusion server events that have significant business impacts.

8. Supervise oracle retail and fusion applications, co-ordinate across application specific and cross functional teams for successful resolution/execution of incidents, service requests, optimization, deployment, planning and execution DR and/or maintenance activities.

9. Contribute to establishment and execution of processes, best practices, strategies, and database management solutions including development standards, backup/recovery, quality control, DR/failover, monitoring, maintenance, metric reporting, optimization, improvement, automation.

10. Lead RCA, implement strategic fix and continuous improvement through automation of tasks.

Basic Qualifications:

1. 6+ years of Oracle Application DBA experience working with installation, development operations and maintenance (but not limited to, optimizing, disaster recovery & tuning etc.) of Oracle Retail, E-Biz and middleware application stack (RMS, RPM, ReSA, ReIM, RIB, FUSION, PIM).

2. Experience in administration of WebLogic application domain and console.

3. Strong experience in PLSQL & Shell scripting.

4.Moderate experience

-Must have – , Oracle WebLogic (11g & 12c), Oracle Database, Oracle Golden Gate

-Preferred - Oracle Forms, Oracle Apex

5. Strong verbal and communication skills

6. Experience in using Gitlab and Atlassian tools for Agile delivery viz., Jira, Confluence
