Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Mobile App Analytics Tagging QA Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure the accurate implementation and validation of analytics tags within mobile applications, providing critical support for tracking and measuring user behavior. This role requires expertise in debugging tools, mobile app analytics platforms, and strong analytical capabilities.

Job Responsibilities:Test and validate analytics tags for mobile apps to ensure accurate data collectionand reporting
Verify tracking events, parameters, and payloads across various user journeys.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts for complex environments usingSelenium, Python
Use tools such as Charles Proxy and Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) Assuranceto inspect network requests and debug data flows.
Identify and resolve issues related to analytics tagging and data discrepancies.
Collaborate with developers, analysts, and product teams to validate GoogleAnalytics (GA4) or Adobe Analytics (Launch/Experience Cloud) implementations.
Work with tagging solutions like GTM (Google Tag Manager) or Adobe Launch.
Hands-on experience with PyTest, BDD framework, Appium, Python.
Experience working with Android emulators and iOS simulators.
Experience working with any cloud platform like SauceLabs, BrowserStack, or anyequivalent tools.
Experience working with CICD tools like GitLabs, or any equivalent tools.
Experience working in Agile environments.
Expertise in cloud platforms like Jenkins, Azure, and GitLab, and experienceintegrating CI/CD pipelines.
Maintain detailed QA test plans and documentation for analytics implementations.
Communicate findings, gaps, and improvements to stakeholders and recommendsolutions.
Partner with engineering, marketing, and data teams to ensure tags are alignedwith business and reporting requirements.
Conduct training or provide technical guidance to team members on analytics anddebugging processes.
Basic Qualifications:At least 5 years of relevant technical experience.
Hands-on experience with debugging tools like Charles Proxy, AEP Assurance, or similar.
Familiarity with mobile app frameworks (iOS/Android) and understanding of mobile-specific analytics nuances.
Proficiency in analytics platforms like Google Analytics (GA4), Adobe Analytics, or similar.
Ability to interpret and troubleshoot analytics data to identify and resolve issues.
Strong understanding of data layer design, implementation workflows, and analytics KPIs.
A solid understanding of retail, e-commerce, and their related metrics.
Experience in QA methodologies, manual testing, and using test automation for mobile apps (optional).
Attention to detail with a focus on ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
