The Legal Support, Sr Associate provides essential legal and operational support across banking, compliance, and litigation activities. This role ensures timely resolution of merchant and legal support requests, accurate documentation, and effective coordination with internal teams, attorneys, and external agencies. The position requires strong organizational skills, professionalism in sensitive interactions, and the ability to manage multiple legal support processes while maintaining compliance with policies and deadlines.Responsibilities:● Provide exceptional service with all interactions involving merchants, sales partners, staff, and outside resources.
● Resolve POS inactivity issues utilizing available resources.
● Actively monitor assigned accounts and provide timely updates and reporting.
● Field incoming calls, emails, and tickets to diagnose and resolve issues.
● Address legal concerns such as UCC lien/levy requests, bankruptcy requests, and attorney interactions in coordination with Risk and Accounting.
● Assist with preparation of litigation documents, subpoenas, agreements, and supporting materials.
● Conduct legal research under guidance from the Legal Department.
● Review and advice on Salesforce-related concerns.
● Maintain professionalism while deescalating complex situations.
Qualifications:● Self-starter with ability to work independently.
● Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
● Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal.
● Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
● Flexible to adjust work hours if needed to resolve urgent matters.
● High level of dedication to learning Shift4’s products and services.
● Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required.
