About the Role:

Perform routine collections work on overdue accounts through inbound & outbound calls. You'll Negotiate with customers to determine a resolution of defaulted loans while maintaining accurate records & relevant information. Investigate & research accounts prior to initiating debtor contact by examining data & evaluating past collection efforts. Contributing to a collaborative team environment is something you will have the opportunity to do on a daily basis whilst providing assistance to Senior Collections Officers

  • Inbound and outbound emails.

  • Issuing of default demand and repossession notices.

  • Hardship requests

  • Ability to manage high volume collection cases

Skills & Experience required:

  • Inbound and outbound collection calls.

  • Inbound and outbound emails.

  • Issuing of default demand and repossession notices.

  • Hardship requests

  • Ability to manage high volume collection cases

  • 2 years plus experience in collections ideally in finance industry

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience in a commercial debt recovery/collections role

  • Knowledge of relevant government rules, regulations and guidelines to perform your role

  • Effective communication skills with the ability to have difficult conversations with organisations and people experience challenging circumstances, remaining professional and respectful
