Senior Web Engineer, Legend

📋 Description

• Lead web performance across Legend, profiling and shipping improvements.
• Deep-dive on JavaScript internals, rendering pipelines, and real-time data.
• Build and optimize high-frequency, real-time UI components handling streaming data.
• Establish performance benchmarks and monitoring for a repeatable standard.
• Foster a performance-first culture via code reviews and docs.
• Contribute to end-to-end features across Legend’s core trading surfaces.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in web development with a focus on infrastructure, tooling, or platform engineering.
• Strong in JavaScript, TypeScript, and another language.
• Experience with frontend infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, build systems, or internal tools.
• Demonstrated ability to reduce developer friction and boost productivity via tooling.
• Experience with Bazel or similar build tools; adept at coordinating with large dev ecosystems.
• Mindset for building meta-level systems and tools that make engineers more effective.
