Senior Web Designer

📋 Description

• Own web design end to end: marketing pages, landing pages, product surfaces.
• Build and maintain a scalable web design system: layout patterns, components, motion, branding.
• Lead web redesigns from concept through production with engineering and growth.
• Start in an LLM: use Claude to explore layouts, generate copy variations, prototype.
• Set the visual bar: typography, spacing, color, motion across all surfaces.
• Collaborate with brand, product, and growth to ensure coherence.

🎯 Requirements

• Active use of LLMs (Claude, Cursor, etc.) and Figma or Paper.
• 7+ years of web design experience with at least one full site overhaul or design system built as an IC.
• A portfolio showing web systems, brand, landing pages, interactive storytelling.
• Deep typographic and layout sensibility — opinions on grids, whitespace, hierarchy.
• Experience working directly with front-end engineers, not just handing off specs.
• Ability to move fast without sacrificing craft — know when to polish and when to ship.
