- Partner with Engineering on system implementation, architecture decisions, and handoff processes.
- Proactively identify gaps by monitoring usage and close gaps before they become workarounds.
- Reduce redundant design and development work by standardizing common solutions.
- Support design and engineering teams with documentation, reviews, and direct collaboration.
- Govern the contribution process: how changes are proposed, reviewed, and approved.
🎯 Requirements
- 7+ years of UX/product design, with at least 4 years in design systems
- Proven expertise with Figma variables and component architecture mapped to coded tokens
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Experience with WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards and their impact on component design
- Strong systems thinking and ability to design for reuse
- Experience building and scaling a design system across multiple teams
