Senior Utility Electrical Engineer

📋 Description

• Evaluate distribution- and ISO-level utility impact studies and costs.
• Assist PV site evaluations and estimate interconnection costs.
• Review interconnection drawings and packages for standards compliance.
• Manage technical aspects of the interconnection process at project level.
• Provide training and guidance to internal engineering teams.
• Participate in internal process improvements and quality initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in engineering and policy for renewable energy design and interconnection tariffs
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; Masters preferred
• PE license preferred
• Strong technical writing, presentation, and communication skills
• Knowledge of interconnection standards (IEEE 1547-2018, 1547.1-2020, NEC)
• Experience with power systems modeling software such as SKM, Aspen, or PSSe
