Senior Systems Administrator

📋 Description

• Build, operate and maintain secure, scalable systems within Entersekt's physical datacentres.
• Operate and monitor Java-based application platforms across prod and non-prod.
• Design, operate and maintain network and systems infrastructure (FreeBSD and off-the-shelf components).
• Manage, maintain and improve routing and network infrastructure internally and externally.
• Install, maintain and troubleshoot hardware in Entersekt datacentres and shared facilities.
• Operate and support network resilience and availability services.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Systems Administrator, Infrastructure or Network Admin roles.
• Strong network management skills with complex architectures.
• Hands-on with BGP/OSPF, GRE, IPSec, WireGuard; FreeBSD-based firewalls.
• Packet capture troubleshooting using Wireshark or termshark.
• On-prem or hybrid datacentre experience.
• FreeBSD as primary OS; MariaDB Galera; ZFS; FreeBSD jails; Tomcat/Java; cryptography concepts.
