- Own 1+ major primary structure assembly/work center from design release through ATP Test.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, reliability, production teams and vendors.
- Create work instructions, specifications, and best practices; standardize processes.
- Mentor less-experienced engineers within the structures ME team.
- Support the shop floor with live issue resolution and upstream feedback.
- Provide Design for Manufacturing feedback during development and first prototypes.
🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, aerospace, mechanical or related engineering.
- 6+ years progressive and related experience.
- 3D and 2D design/drafting skills per ASME Y14.5M (NX preferred).
- Excellent interpersonal skills interfacing with engineering and manufacturing groups.
- Statics, mechanics of materials, factory design, fastening and joining, machining, welding.
- Expert knowledge of common manufacturing processes, tools, inspection methods and GD&T.
