Senior / Staff Software Engineer, ML Datasets & Data Pipelines

📋 Description

• Design and build scalable ML data pipelines for Waabi's autonomous driving platform.
• Use real-world driving data and Waabi World to train/evaluate DL models.
• Optimize data formats, caching, and dataloading for efficient training at scale.
• Improve data sampling to track model performance and edge cases.
• Mentor others and maintain high-quality, well-tested code; drive roadmap.
• Collaborate with scientists/engineers to accelerate driverless vehicle launch.

🎯 Requirements

• BS or MS in CS/ML or related field, with 4+ years.
• Python and DL frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX).
• Distributed ETL and data processing pipeline experience.
• Managing ML pipelines: dataset management, dataloading, optimization.
• Strong cloud orchestration, monitoring, and instrumentation knowledge.
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to mentor others.
