Senior Staff Security Engineer, Ripple Treasury

📋 Description

• Serve as the dedicated security engineering partner for Ripple Treasury, owning security posture.
• Lead threat modeling and security architecture reviews across Treasury offerings.
• Own the secure SDLC, defining guardrails, CI/CD integrations, and developer guidance.
• Drive cloud security for Treasury across Azure and AWS, including IAM, network, encryption, and zero trust.
• Partner with GRC to meet SOC 2, ISO 27001, and applicable financial regulatory frameworks.
• Mentor and scale Security Engineers, building a Security Champions program.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in Security Engineering (product and infrastructure security).
• Expert threat modeling skills (STRIDE) and security architecture reviews.
• Deep cloud security experience in Azure, AWS, or GCP; IAM, network security, Kubernetes.
• Hands-on DevSecOps tooling: SAST/DAST/SCA, secrets scanning, container scanning, CI/CD security.
• Strong software engineering in Python or Go; automate security tooling.
• Cryptography and key management knowledge (HSM, PKI, key rotation) in financial contexts.
