📋 Description

• Define long-term architecture for Faire’s ML platform (training, inference, features, governance).
• Establish standards for code quality, testing, CI/CD, experimentation, and observability.
• Lead Unity Catalog adoption and multi-workspace data/ML patterns.
• Architect scalable ML workflows with Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow.
• Optimize performance, reliability, and cost of the ML platform.
• Represent Faire at ML conferences and mentor ML engineers.

🎯 Requirements

• 10–12 years building large-scale ML/data platforms.
• Degree in CS, Engineering, Statistics, or related field.
• Deep Databricks lakehouse expertise: Unity Catalog, Workflows, cost optimization.
• Design systems for multiple data science teams and production workloads.
• Distributed systems, ML infra, cloud architecture.
• Leadership across teams; ability to influence without authority.
