📋 Description

• Define long-term vision for Shopping ML across search, discovery, and personalization.
• Lead AI systems that improve how customers discover products and shop.
• Architect large-scale ML systems with LLMs, retrieval, ranking, and personalization.
• Build and operate production ML systems powering real-time experiences for millions of users/products.
• Identify foundational ML capabilities to unlock new experiences.
• Mentor senior engineers through design reviews, architecture guidance, and collaboration.

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s/PhD in CS, ML, AI, or equivalent, or relevant exp.
• 10+ years building and operating large-scale ML systems in production.
• Proven track record architecting ML systems powering core experiences at scale.
• Deep expertise in recommender systems, ranking, embeddings, or search.
• Experience combining generative AI with traditional ML (retrieval, ranking, personalization).
• Experience designing ML platforms for large-scale experimentation, training, deployment.
