- Own lidar sensor system architecture, including functional decomposition and interfaces.
- Translate top-level requirements into detailed EE/ME/FW specs.
- Collaborate with EE, FW/SW, photonics, and ME to balance mech, electrical, thermal, and optical tradeoffs.
- Lead architectural evolution across lidar generations to reduce cost, power, and size.
- Lead bring-up and debugging of electrical-to-photonic interfaces.

π― Requirements
- PhD/MS in EE, Physics, or related field with 8+ years (or BS with 12+ years).
- Deep understanding of active sensors (lidar, radar, or spectral imaging).
- Proven track record architecting sensing systems, defining EE/FW partitions, high-speed interfaces.
- System simulation/modeling proficiency; familiarity with FPGA/SoC architectures.
