Senior / Staff Electrical Engineer, Autonomous Vehicles

📋 Description

• Own the electrical architecture of the autonomous tractor end-to-end, including harness design and CAN topology.
• Design, review, and maintain vehicle wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Lead root-cause analysis of electrical faults across the deployed fleet, including power distribution and sensors.
• Define corrective actions from field failure analysis to drive design improvements and retrofit plans.
• Own electrical bring-up and validation for new platforms and major upfits, with acceptance criteria and checklists.
• Collaborate with software and autonomy teams for hardware bring-up, sensor calibration, and hardware-software debugging.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in electrical engineering in hardware-centric domains (auto/autonomy).
• Deep expertise in vehicle electrical systems: harness, power, CAN, EMC.
• Ability to read, create, and own complex electrical schematics.
• Strong fault analysis and root-cause investigation skills.
• Design for reliability and serviceability in harsh environments.
• Ability to operate independently and drive cross-functional decisions.
