Senior Staff Data Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain core data pipelines and infra for analytics, ML, and AI use cases.
• Own ingestion, transformation, storage, and serving architecture for scalable, reliable data.
• Establish data quality, observability, and reliability standards with SLAs, monitoring, and alerts.
• Partner with analytics, data science, and product teams to translate needs into reusable data models.
• Lead technical initiatives and drive best practices in code quality and testing.
• Ensure data systems meet privacy, security, and compliance requirements for sensitive health data.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data, platform, or backend engineering.
• Strong SQL skills and proficiency in a general-purpose language (Python preferred).
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining production data pipelines at scale.
• Experience with modern data platforms, cloud data warehouses, and orchestration tools.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, pipeline reliability, and system design trade-offs.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and translate business needs into technical solutions.
