📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end development of biotech consumables from concept to manufacturing.
• Drive design of plastic/hybrid consumables with microfluidics.
• Define design verification and validation strategies with tolerance analysis.
• Develop consumable solutions for precise fluid handling and dosing.
• Lead prototype development and test fixtures for robust solutions.
• Collaborate across Systems, Instrument, Chemistry, and Ops for integration.

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced degree in Engineering; PhD strongly preferred.
• 10+ years in consumables, microfluidics, or life sciences instruments.
• Strong systems engineering across hardware, fluidics, and manufacturing constraints.
• Injection molding and plastic manufacturing expertise (over-molding, thermoforming).
• SolidWorks with GD&T and tolerance analysis; FEA/DFMA experience.
• Prototyping (3D printing, CNC) and data tools (JMP, R, Matlab, Python).
