📋 Description

  • Review clinical trial synopsis and protocols to understand IMP supply and demand requirements.
  • Assist in packaging and supply strategy using Excel or SaaS forecasting tools.
  • Coordinate with vendors (packagers, distribution centers, freight forwarders, courier).
  • Support domestic/international logistics for clinical studies; ensure timely, compliant delivery.
  • Support D&OP across studies in collaboration with Supply Chain Operations.
  • Monitor inventory at depots and clinical sites; alert supply lead to avoid issues.
  • Assist in developing requests for proposals for packaging, labeling, storage, and distribution.
  • Review vendor invoices for accruals and budget tracking.
  • Support vendor performance monitoring and governance reporting.
  • Ensure supply chain activities adhere to GMP, GDP, and regulatory guidelines (FDA, EMA, ICH).
  • Contribute to SOPs and work instructions to support operational excellence.
  • Support regulatory inspections and audits through documentation and record-keeping.
  • Participate in cross-functional project teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

  • B.S. in Supply Chain Management, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field with 6+ years in supply chain, logistics, or operations.
  • Experience with inventory and supply chain management in biotech/pharma/clinical environments.
  • Familiarity with GMP, GDP, and regulatory guidelines including ICH, CFR, EMA standards.
  • Experience with ERP systems, IRT, forecasting tools, or inventory management systems.
  • Strong MS Office skills; Excel and PowerPoint; Smartsheet preferred; PowerBI/Tableau a plus.
  • Knowledge of import/export requirements and international logistics a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and navigate ambiguity.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration across functions.
