π― Requirements
- 10+ years of aerospace/defense engineering and manufacturing experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience using Xometryβs services from a customer perspective (partner perspective bonus)
- Deep familiarity with major aerospace/defense orgs (Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, SpaceX, etc.)
- Strong understanding of manufacturing principles, including drawings and GDT
- Particularly strong experience in CNC machining; composites, plastics, harnesses and sheet metal are bonuses
- Familiarity with ISO9001, AS9100d, ITAR, NIST and other compliance requirements
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; able to work in remote/digital environments; 25-35% travel
