- Lead design and development of Windows desktop apps using Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, XAML.
- Define and enforce best practices for architecture, performance, memory, and cross-version compatibility.
- Drive accessibility: integrate UI Automation, ensure keyboard navigation and screen reader support.
- Collaborate with designers, researchers, QA on feature planning and UI/UX.
- Own full feature lifecycle from conception to release and maintenance.
- Identify and fix complex bugs, bottlenecks, memory, or rendering issues.
🎯 Requirements
- 3+ yrs in Windows desktop app dev with Windows App SDK/WinUI, C#, XAML; C++ optional.
- Deep understanding of Windows app architecture and interop .NET–native.
- Proven track record shipping production Windows desktop apps (reliability, perf, maintainability).
- Strong accessibility experience on Windows; UI Automation or similar.
- Strong CS fundamentals: OOP, design patterns, data structures, memory management, multithreading.
- Experience leading design, mentoring, code reviews, and architecture decisions.
- Excellent communication; able to tradeoff decisions and align cross-functional teams.
- User-centric mindset; building polished, accessible experiences for end users.
